1. Is The Help an agency?

No ,The Help is not an agency. We are a directory of independent individuals offering home help services. You connect directly with the service provider, without any middlemen, commission fees, or agency involvement.

2. Are the individuals listed on The Help vetted?

No. We do not screen, sponsor, or employ any individuals listed. It is your responsibility to verify their credentials, conduct your own interviews, and ensure they are legally permitted to work or reside in the UAE.

3. Can I hire someone full-time through The Help?

You can reach out to any listed individual and discuss your needs directly. However, you are responsible for complying with UAE labour and residency laws if you wish to employ or sponsor someone full-time.

4. What types of help can I find here?

You’ll find individuals offering services in childcare, elderly care, cleaning, pet care, driving, and tutoring. Each profile includes skills, availability, and more to help you choose the right fit.

5. How does payment work?

You can browse all profiles for free, anytime. If you’d like to connect with a helper, you’ll need to choose a subscription plan that gives you access to their contact details. Once connected, you and the individual arrange payment and job terms directly we do not charge commission or facilitate payments.

6. How do I know if someone is right for my family?

Each profile includes helpful filters, bios, experience levels, and language skills to make comparing and contacting individuals easier. You’re in full control of who you contact.

For Individuals Listing Their Services

1. Is this a job platform or agency?

No. The Help is a directory. You are simply listing your services for families to view. You are not employed or sponsored by us, and you manage your own work opportunities.

2. Who sees my profile?

Only members who’ve signed up to find help. They can filter by your role, experience, and skills and contact you directly if they’re interested.

3. Do I need a special visa to be listed?

You must be legally permitted to reside in the UAE. That may be through a personal visa, family sponsorship, or another valid arrangement. We do not provide work visas or sponsorships.

4. How much does it cost to join?

If you’re one of the first 600 individuals, you get one year free (AED 75 value). After that, a small annual fee applies to stay listed.

5. Will The Help get involved in my job search or payments?

No. There are no commissions, no agency negotiations, and no involvement in your payments. You handle all communication and arrangements directly with the families.

6. Can I remove my profile later?

Yes, you can update or delete your listing at any time by logging into your account.
